Personally I hate the double drop weekends. It seems like I get fewer drops of what ever is supposed to be dropping twice as much. These definitely are not a draw to play the game for me.

Access weekends (like the FoW and UW one we just had) are awesome. These tend to distract me from life. They are a fun time to do something different with guildwars. These weekends give my guild reason to get together and do something fun, even if it's just dance and chat while we wait for a full group.

So, my favorites are:
Holiday weekends like Canthan New Year
Elite mission Access (Urgo's, FoW, UW)
Gamer weekend (and anything with those games available)
special drops like the St. Patrick's day stuff is fun
Double hero XP

Can work two ways. You have twice the chance to get something rare, or twice as much chance to NOT get something rare. LOL

My all time favorites that I have participated in the following order:

1.- Double/Triple Drop weekends green items

2.- Double/Triple Drop weekends Gold items with increased key drops

3.- Access to FOW and UW

4.- Elite mission access

5.- Access to Roller Beatle arena and various games

I would love to see the following events:

1.- Double/Triple Hero armor upgrades

2.- Superior rune weekend with much better chance of getting expensive ones

3.- An all Gold weekend where all chests are Gold

4.- A special event where the rest of us has a chance to get a ritualist hero

5.- A weekend where we can get items that work like 4 leaf clovers or even CC's

My all time biggest request:

A weekend event that involves a special quest that removes the need for the character to have favor to access FOW or underworld permanantly.

Oh, and please extend the weekends from thursday till monday.

Man, an all Gold weekend or Superior Rune weekend would be great. (especially now that Guild Wars is "ending", why not?)

I would love to see more themed drop events or special chests appearing for the weekend. Easter egg hunt to trade in for a basket with random goodies in it! Or a weekend when you complete a mission you get the rewards bonus again (only for missions past the halfway mark... no farming the starter missions.)

With Easter coming up- I would love to see a lunatic bunny running round LA screaming 'I'm late I'm late I'm late' and dropping easter eggs (5 sugar points)

Basically anything that is different to normal and available to all, without bias. For instance double fame sounds great at first, but when I get there with no fame I find I can't join a group

OR....(just thought of this) how about a triple fame weekend BUT to qualify half the team has to be rank 2 or less....that would encourage the more experienced players to help some newbies.

Hero Armor Drops - Had some pretty fun runs at Dajkah Inlet getting them.
UW/FoW Access - First time me and some guildies had an excuse to go there
Elite Mission Access - Same, not to mention the chance
Rare Chest Loot - I'm a chest RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO, I admit it.

I liked access to Jade Deep and would have liked access to FoW/UW (had too much studying to do). These should be open to those who complete a campaign or who have protecter titles, seriously (like DoA). Maybe link favor to having to pay to get in?

Never noticed increased drops/rare chests/greens - rate not high enough for me. :S Maybe ADD chests (10 per area instead of 5).

I liked the clovers - they helped in PvE areas - I would like to see something creatable in game that has a similar effect, like iboga salads and drake cabobs, but without the bitter aftertaste.

For all the good ideas I come up with for GW, I should become a paid playtester. Seriously, I will do it.

No way in HELL should any PvP character have access to any PvE area. Not for a weekend, not for a minute. That means that people who bought the PvP only version of the game could exp. the PvE version that they chose not to buy.

As for the rest, I could care less. I personally am sick and tired of all the weekend events. There is only so many double everything weekends players can take. Remember there are plenty of us who don't care about money and don't suffer from countless greed.

Why don't you have everything give us double xp for a weekend. So those of us that struggle to get skill points could get them easier. More skill points = more builds to try. The same PvE cookie cutter builds are getting boring.

I generally dislike these weekend events as I think the effort could/should be rolled up into a larger event every not-so-often, but I also dislike restricted access. The FoW/UW event is still fresh in my mind, and I enjoyed it much more than both the Canthan elite mission ones, so I guess it's my top pick.

Rolling with that theme:

1) FoW/UW access
2) Gamer weekend (special area access, title access)
3) Shing Jea Boardwalk (special area access, title access)
4) Double Faction in Competitive missions (because Jade Quarry deserves better

)
5) Snowball arena (title access, PvP that's actually fun

)

Again, as I said, I would much prefer there were no weekend events because having them so frequently cheapens the "special" experience and having them last only a few days restricts already restricted access. Now, a week of several of the above rolled into one event every month... that I could get behind

The ultimate weekend event would be a temporary return to the days when all chests were unlocked. Throw away the keys and have fun for a couple of days.

To add to the fun for the weekend, make it possible for Crystaline swords to (very rarely) appear in high level chests.

Of course - if we really did have a weekend like that - I don't think there is bandwidth enough in all the world to take care of the crowds that would attract.

When I voted a few pages back, I did not add access to FoW/UW as one of my choices.
I wanna say that I really enjoyed last weekend and would not mind for it to happen more.
